We are seeking an office assistant and medical biller. This is a great opportunity for a beginner biller to grow!
In this role, your tasks will include:
-Writing patient consult letters
-Insurance verification
-Communication and coordination with patients and their families regarding the above
This list will grow to include
-Medical billing
-Posting payments
-Direct communication with insurance companies regarding the above.
Your skills should include:
Basic knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
-Operation of standard office equipment, including- computers, printers, fax
-Excellent written and spoken grammar
-Analytical problem solving
-Research, as required
College graduate preferred
You must be
-dependable
-detail oriented
-a team player who also works well independently
-intellectually curious
