Mutual of Omaha's MuleSoft Integration Engineer will design, develop and implement our next-generation integration solutions for insurance and financial solutions. You will improve how millions of people access and interact with our products, the way business partners support our customers and use data, as well as explore new technologies to better meet those needs.

ABOUT YOU:
- Professionally contributed to solution development, documentation and implementation over the last three plus years with one year or more in:
- MuleSoft, DataWeave, Anypoint Platform
- API / Microservices Building/managing cloud services by automating/orchestrating moderately complex processes, within a single cloud environment.
- Distributed cloud platform configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management automation tools.
- Learns quickly when facing new problems and is a relentless and versatile learner, open to change. Analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement.
- Has a collaborative attitude and a willingness to work with team members; is able to coach, participate in code reviews and share skills and methods with their team.
- Understands the Agile mindset and iterative development process
- Self-motivated and driven with the desire to innovate.

VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:
Kafka, AWS, Snowflake, XML, Java / Spring Boot, Jenkins
MuleSoft administration, configuration, and tuning
Participated and/or lead the coordination of MuleSoft releases
Has experience with popular cloud service providers or on-premise cloud tools
Understands hybrid-cloud topologies. Can integrate cloud and legacy on-prem environments
Understands security and compliance for cloud environment
WHAT YOULL DO:
Design, develop and implement integrations solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Builds/manages stable secure cloud infrastructure/networking using cloud orchestration capabilities, scripting languages and APIs to design, code, test, implement and support for On-premise and Public Cloud.
Configuration of common cloud services in production environment (e.g. compute, storage, networking).
Evaluates options; performs tradeoff and cost benefit analyses.
Emphasizes the use of a disciplined process when creating and implementing designs and operates effectively as part of a team in doing so.
Can play multiple roles (e.g.: individual contributor, lead, teacher, mentor).
Creates and reuses designs and design artifacts.
Uses patterns and frameworks to develop, support and solve problems for enterprise level applications supported by a team.
Understands how their technology / application supports business partner/ Mutual of Omaha business strategy. Team expert.
Applies software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations problems with a focus on automation and self-healing.
Collaborates with team to uncover pain points and formulate ways to accelerate delivery.
Translates business/user requirements into technical requirements, and applies creative problem solving that bring these requirements to fruition for a team.
Prioritizes the use of frameworks and patterns to produce efficient code.
Be involved in the development of short-term, operationally focused cloud vision for the Enterprise. Executes tactical steps associated with cloud vision.
