Since 1994, Medical Solutions Supplier (MSS) has specialized in home therapy equipment and supplies to treat chronic or acute medical conditions. Our nationwide medical sales and support staff works closely with doctors, nurses, physician assistants, therapists, case managers and their patients to achieve the best possible results.
This is a full time, non-exempt, hybrid/remote position, however we are looking for candidates in the Glen Mills, PA area. The first 90 days of employment will be in-office at our Glen Mills, PA office.

The Intake Coordinator/Patient Intake Specialist is an integral and valuable member of the Medical Solutions Supplier (MSS) Team. This individual is the first point of contact between MSS and our patients. Providing an initial positive experience for our patients is a priority at MSS. Obtaining the necessary information required to get insurance approval for the Lympha Press compression pump and developing a strong, positive relationship with our patients are the two main responsibilities of the Intake Coordinator.
Responsibilities for the Patient Intake Specialist position will include:
- Review patient’s office notes sent by the referring medical professional to extrapolate the necessary information to meet insurance guidelines.
- Input gathered information into patient database.
- Call patients to perform initial intake, gather other information and establish relationship with patient.
- Return patient’s calls and emails.
- Send product information to patients via email.
- Communicate with Physician’s offices via fax and email to obtain patient information and to provide Physician with patient forms.
- Call insurance contracts and sub-contractors to obtain patient benefit allowances. doctor’s offices.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong phone skills, including clear and friendly voice.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal staff and external parties.
- Customer service oriented with compassion and empathy for our patients.
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Education:
- High school degree or equivalent required
Experience:
- Medical insurance experience, a plus

Compensation: $22.11 per hour equates to approx. $45,988 annually
