Full time position available in our Patient Registration and Accounts department. The Patient Service Representative position will involve greeting and registering patients in various hospital and outpatient services departments and the emergency department. Will be responsible for collecting required information to accurately process patient registration and other clerical duties. Hours are primarily day shifts with a weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualified Patient Service Representative candidate must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to multi-task, work with a sense of urgency in emergent situations and provide service with a sense of compassion. Experience as a receptionist in a medical setting with proficient data entry and computer skills strongly preferred. New higher starting payrates and enhanced benefit package! Vernon Memorial Healthcare has been caring for the Viroqua area, as an independent, non-profit organization, since 1951. We are a Critical Access Hospital with Rural Health Clinics.
