We are looking for Pharmacists to join our team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington. We have shift and employment options available to fit your life include day/evening/night and full-time/part-time/on-call.

Position Summary
Pharmacists are responsible for ensuring that patients receive safe and effective medication therapy. This includes processing of inpatient and outpatient medication orders and timely distribution of medications to meet patient needs. Minimum Requirements:

  • Provides pharmacy services to meet all patient needs.
  • Displays the ability to interact with staff, patients, and public in a professional manner.
  • Displays good supervisory skills and assists the Director and Coordinators with departmental activities including annual and periodic reporting.
  • Will play an active role and assist the pharmacy department with quality assurance, continuous quality improvement, and assigned projects.
  • Must display extreme accuracy in mathematical calculations and dispensing activities.
  • Must have and be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate for the age group of patients served.
  • The individual must understand and demonstrate knowledge of the concept of growth and development over the life span and have the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status.
  • Must also interpret the appropriate information needed to identify the requirements of each patient relative to his or her age-specific needs and to provide care for that patient group.

Education/Licenses/Certifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy and possess a current pharmacist license in Washington State.
  • Must have current CPR/BLS for Health Care Providers by the American Heart Association or by the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer.
