Position Overview
Shaw is now hiring Creelers. No experience required!
Creelers are part of a close-knit team that work together to prep, load and process unfinished yarn. The ideal candidate for this position will be organized and efficient with a strong attention to detail. He/she will be responsible for the first stages of the Heatset processes and will be accountable for communicating with his/her team members to ensure the process continues uninterrupted. This is an active and engaging position and will give candidates hands on experience with the ins and outs of the manufacturing process.
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Communicating with teammates on work assignments
- Use a color-coding system and diagrams to identify yarn to be processed
- Load and rotate out spools of yarn based on orders
- Ensure Accuracy and quality of product
- Labeling and packaging yarn
