About the Position:

The Porter/Janitor is responsible for the upkeep of the grounds, maintenance, and cleaning of the interior and exterior of the property, as well as all landscaping duties. This is for an 82-unit apartment community designed exclusively for low-income seniors, age 62 and above, or households with disability at any age. The property is located in Warsaw, IN. Minor maintenance experience (e.g. painting and drywall) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum all floors as needed

• Clean management offices, clubrooms, kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms as needed

• Empty all trash cans on a daily basis and dispose of trash in designated areas

• Pick up garbage around the property daily

• Assist maintenance team as needed, including painting and work orders

Qualifications:

• Prior housekeeping, landscaping, and painting experience helpful

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Computer literacy required
