Job Title: Data Analyst Level 2

Duration: 6 Months with possible extension

Location: Blue Ash, OH (Remote First week would be onsite to get laptop, etc. then rest is remote)

Pay Rate: $50/hr to $55/hr max

Job Description:

Responsible for the day-to-day management of Retail Operations data, including gathering, summarizing,

and analyzing data necessary to gain business insights and establish best practices. Identify and

implement process improvements to find efficiencies, streamline the reporting process, and lead data

automation efforts. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity,

inclusion, and safety.

Skills: Experience and desire to manage large data sets. Strong skills in R, SQL, PowerBI

Required Skills/Experience:

• Knowledge of process improvement tools & techniques such as Six Sigma.

• Proficient in Hyperion Essbase, R, Oracle Business Objects, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.

• Financial, data, and statical analysis experience.

• 3+ years of analytical experience

• Advanced knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, R, Oracle Business Objects, Excel, Tableau, and Power

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Creative and alert to new ways of approaching tasks

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting functions.

• Gather Retail Operations data from multiple databases, platforms, stakeholders, and 3rd party

vendors to complete analyze.

• Transform large data sets through data wrangling, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.

• Leverage Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to build and maintain custom reports and

dashboards to reveal trends and correlations in large data sets.

• Implement row level security in the Power BI (and other data visualization tools) to enable secured

viewing of the reports for designated job levels and locations.

• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the data needs to execute department and

enterprise-wide strategic objectives and initiatives.

• Identify and communicate any data-related issues and recommendations to the business owner,

manager, and the team.

• Provide data insights and solutions to leaders to drive decision-making.
