We’re looking for an assistant preschool director with exceptional operations and organizational skill to continue building on our top-tier program. We’re passionate about helping our children start their journey of learning and growth, and are building a different kind of school.

Assistant Director Role:

The Assistant Director has strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator, and can motivate and inspire others. The Assistant Director responsibilities include:

• Overseeing preschool operations including Quality Assurance, Facility Management, Education, and Staff Training.
• Managing compliance with local and state licensing regulations
• Overseeing the implementation of Goddard Quality Assurance standards within the school
• Projecting an inspiring, positive, and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervising and assisting staff in development and execution of a progressive, play-based, STEAM-Focused early childhood curriculum.
• Conducting monthly room reviews in each classroom and providing feedback to teachers
• Managing purchasing of supplies and overseeing a resource budget.
• Having the genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

The Experience / Education Required:

California State Site Supervisor / Center Director Certification Preferred

• College Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership or a related field
• 2+ years’ experience Managing staff in a large child care program preferred
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to Professional Development & Team Building
