The Production Process Leader is responsible for partnering with the Production Supervisors to provide leadership, direction, project and process support to drive improvements and ensure department and organization success. The position is responsible for understanding the applicable manufacturing processes, cGMP’s, and production systems, as well as document and change control software that is used to drive efficiencies and achieve customer, company, and regulatory requirements. The position will also provide coverage and backup for the Production Supervisors as needed, as well as provide input on employee performance management. This position is also one that could, at various times and based on needs be directly responsible for a team and have direct reports.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Science, Business, Finance or related field, plus 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a controlled process manufacturing or analytical laboratory environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Regulatory requirements and procedures (CFPs, cGMP, FDA, etc.) is required. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and LSS experience preferred. Project management experience preferred. Demonstration of excellent communication, and teamwork as well as a desire to inspire and drive process improvement-are a must.

All positions at ASM require the ability to work in a regulated manufacturing facility and around deceased stinging insects, allergenic antigens, hazardous chemicals, solvents and laboratory reagents.
