Advertised Job Summary
As a team member within the Office of Innovation, Partnership, and Economic Engagement (OIPEE), the Program Manager for Engineering & Emerging Technologies will help to provide strategic oversight and manage personnel during daily operations. The Program Manager will work in a player/coach role to assist the Office of Innovation, Partnership, and Economic Engagement to bring new projects and then work to ensure their successful completion. The Program Manager will be counted upon to be a key technical lead and will work directly with junior staff and student teams to facilitate training and maintain a safe work environment. The Program Manager will also be counted upon to be a project manager and must make sure that projects are completed on time and on budget. The Program Manager will report to the Associate Director of Economic Engagement and support relationships with Center members, partners, and research team members.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field and 2 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience, or equivalency.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of Grant Reports, financials, and other documents as required for Grant Maintenance. Ability to develop and implement strategic, technology-based projects, trainings consultancy and conferences for building competency for emerging technologies capable of solving pressing real-world business and social problems. Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize tasks completion to meet schedules and deadlines. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities. Ability to collaborate and promote accord within teams, as well as have the capability to work productively with limited supervision. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication, and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail.
