Overview
The Project Manager- Apollo – Logistics is accountable for executing Logistics workstreams related to Kraft Heinz multi-year- $450MM network restructuring project (Apollo). The scope of this role’s accountability for project management includes- but is not limited to- design/construction coordination- timelines- budget- resources- and project status communication. The individual in this position will be an expert adept in the complexities of logistics costs- capital processes- while driving both financial and performance results.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Expected to complete analysis and evaluation of projects including critical path development- data collection- and cost profiles used to define full scope of the project with options and recommendations
- Develop business cases that includes identifying current and future state costs- projected savings- and potential capital and expenses that may be incurred.
- Expected to provide expectations and measure performance of 3PLs- developers- general contractors- internal KHC logistics and operations teams- MHE vendors- and other suppliers of a logistics operation. Manage all aspects of the project at the frequency necessary for each stage of the project lifecycle.
- Drive tactical decisions pertaining to project execution and ongoing operational SOPs.
- Work internally and externally to ensure operational and building specifications reflect Kraft Heinz future state operating model
- Responsible for building operational readiness and startup success- which includes ensuring all start up activities related to IT- transportation lanes- inventory- workforce training- building audits- SOPs- vendors are secured- and facility punch list are complete
- Generate project implementation plans- startup KPIs and measures of success- operational plans and contingencies- transition plans- and related change management and communication
- Works cross-functionally with stakeholders- consultants- contractors- and vendors to identify and align inter-dependencies and manage the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to closeout
- Facilitate operational/building decommissioning and all start-up and building commissioning activities
- Reveal critical decision points and cultivate recommendations to leadership for alignment and approval to move the project forward
- Own project documentation and change management practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Supply Chain/Operations Management/Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of applicable experience; including warehouse- transportation- and operations experience- exposure to 3rd party operations- railroad operations- multi-temperature facilities- and automation
- Operations startup and change management
- Experience implementing automation and assessing new technology
- Excel- PowerPoint- MS Projects- and presentation skills
- Strong analytical- organizational- and communication skills
- Proficiency of Kraft Heinz warehouse policies and ways of working preferred
- High results-orientation- takes initiative and bias for action with drive through resolution
- Organizational Agility – knows how to get things done both through formal and informal channels
- Priority Setting – Spends their time and the time of others on what’s most significant
- Travel Required 50%-75%

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
