Project Scheduler New York City, NY System One has some temp-to-hire opportunities for multiple Primavera 6 Schedulers with scheduling experience on power grid projects. The Primavera 6 Schedulers should have experience in reviewing and understanding conceptual plans, scope documents, and designs for electrical transmission and developer interconnection projects. Schedulers with experience in Electrical Transformer Replacement and Substation projects are also encouraged to apply. Hybrid role supporting projects in Manhattan, Staten Island and Brooklyn areas United States Citizen or Perm Resident only Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check PRIMAVERA 6 SCHEDULER RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to review and understand conceptual plans, scope documents, and designs for electrical transmission and developer interconnection projects. Facilitate the preparation and creation of schedules. Review the baseline/execution schedules. Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information. Perform critical path and float analysis reporting. Reports schedule status to the appropriate project Company management and the client. Provide analysis for the historical data, such as performed projects for future planning and forecasting. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. PRIMAVERA 6 SCHEDULER REQUIREMENTS Extensive P6 Scheduling experience In-depth knowledge / proficiency of the scope of projects within the utility industry, particularly in Transmission Line Feeders, Electrical Transformer Replacements, and/or Substation projects Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Use MS Project, Cost Control SAP, Maximo, AACE would be attractive to have as well Good Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel, skills All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
