Role Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation, configuration, and support of Windchill on Linux and Windows.
- Supports daily operations including Build & Release management, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring/tuning.
- Installation of WBM, Creo, Solr & CAD Tools
- Work with vendor to troubleshoot issues and implement patches and perform System Upgrades
- Rehost environment - dev, test, and QA environments
- Using File Utility to load different business objects in Windchill
- Configure and support Windchill applications in a cluster environment.
- Develop & maintain automated (scripted) Windchill Build and Deployment pipelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years’ experience in administrating Windchill PLM systems.
- Good understanding of Oracle Databases, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, Linux and windows systems.
- Experience in shell scripting.
- Ability to work on a self-initiated basis and within a team environment, coordinating between various teams
- Good working knowledge of Windchill PDMLink, Project Link, PartsLink, MPMLink, WBM
- Familiar with Azure Cloud Technologies
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to set priorities and manage own workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter with drive for results and attention to detail
- Able to independently complete assignments within established time frames
Experiences
- 6-8 years’ experience in PTC Windchill PLM System Administration; CI & Build Pipeline development; SQL & PL/SQL
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of every year of education
- Min 6 years of experience in Information Technology
