Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Quality Reporting Specialist to join our team!


JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Reporting Manager is responsible, among other things, for quality assurance reporting as specified by Director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Summarizes data on monthly reporting, including tracking and trending for Discharged Not Final Billed Claims.
  • Organizes and disperses outside clinic reports to appropriate staff in a timely manner
  • Runs, sorts, organizes and owns all other needed reporting through Cerner as requested.
  • Reviews specialty claims as needed for proper coding and billing guidelines for MVH and IFCH facilities.
  • Ensuring reports and information adheres to MVH billing criteria
  • Assists in Commercial billing functions as needed as part of the billing team, included but not limited to insurance billing, claims, registration updates, transmitting claims and correcting errors as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification: Two year degree from an accredited school, preferably in a healthcare related field.


Experience: Three to five years’ experience in similar field. Accreditation audit experience preferred.


Equipment/Technology: Working knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Windows based PC system and a range of software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Language/Communication: Must communicate in a timely manner, clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.


Mathematical Skills: Demonstrates ability to use simple math to present data in a clear and understandable manner.


Mental Capabilities: Demonstrates ability to understand and evaluate regulations and guidelines and apply them to the setting of MVH. Can evaluate suggestions and criticisms objectively and wherever necessary undertakes to change behavior or seek further guidance. Is able to make decisions quickly and is able to identify any quality improvements needed in the organization.


Interpersonal:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers and the general public.
