RBR Maintenance Worker Job at Colville Fuels Llc
Assists with the upkeep of the property, equipment and grounds; performs duties in a customer service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, customer and vendor relations.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with internal and external repairs of cabins, laundry facilities and other company property, such as picnic tables; assists with internal and external painting.
- Operates and maintains equipment and tools, such as backhoe and power tools.
- Maintains and cleans boats and docks; ensures boat motors are properly fueled and maintained.
- Maintains the grounds; operates lawn mowers (riding and hand), weed eaters and hedge trimmer; removes weed and tree branches when needed.
- Cuts and stacks wood for cabin use.
- Maintains RV sites, tent sites and fire pits.
- Provides customer service in a professional manner; assists guests and responds to questions and requests in a pleasant, timely and helpful manner.
- Helps customers with a variety of needs such as boat launching, pumping propane, picking up supplies, general questions, resort rules and tribal laws; aides stranded motorists and boaters.
- Adheres to all established safety standards, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures, TOSHA and OSHA regulations.
- Uses all required safety precautions, including use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Carpentry experience preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of various hand and power tools and be able to operate those tools.
- Must have good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with coworkers, officials and the general public.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a current and valid Washington State Drivers License.
- Must possess a current and valid Tribal Driver’s License and tribal insurance.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and a variety of shifts.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
- Ability to occasionally sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or stoop.
- Ability to frequently reach, climb and/or crawl.
- Occasionally works near or around electricity.
- Frequently works near or around mechanical moving parts.
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
- Occasionally exposed to smoke, fumes or airborne particles.
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
