Recreation Specialist/Camp Director Job at City of San Rafael
Recreation Specialist/Camp Director working with children in a small day camp; with children ages of 5-9 years of age in a very hands on role. Responsible for developing and implementing camp daily activities, camper supervision in a park and pool setting, communication with parents, will directly supervise one camp counselor, and one youth volunteer, safety minded, creative, punctual, will handle set up and clean up daily. Previous experience working with children in camp setting, or background or education in childhood development desired. Must be able to work between June 12 and August 5; work hours Monday-Friday; 7:30am-1:30pm. No camp week of July 3. First Aid and CPR certification required by June 12.
