We are experiencing record sales and are moving into a brand-new facility in Haverhill, MA shortly. Haverhill offers beautiful sights and is located half-way between the City of Boston and the beautiful New England Seacoast.

In this opportunity, you will be a team member of the Engineering team in support of our fast-paced and dynamic Engineering operations. The key focus is the following areas within our industrial chiller portfolio, Polycold.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

In support of our new technology development of cryogenic systems used in semiconductor and industrial applications, we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience testing and modifying novel mechanical system designs
• Evaluation of primarily mechanical systems, equipment, and packages
• Ability to assess data quality and scrutinize test results of mechanical systems
• Ability to design and execute hands-on experiments in a laboratory setting
• Willingness to contribute to total systems engineering design
• Willingness to be involved in all phases of research and product development.
• Ability to assist in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
• Willingness to learn and train as required to maintain current technical skills
• Intellectual curiosity for vacuum and/or cryogenic systems
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Ability and willingness to occasionally shift work hours to accommodate long test run times

Would be great if you have this, but we can train you:

• 2+ years of brazing or TIG welding experience
• Previous experience with HVAC and current EPA 608 certification
• Preferred 2-year technical certificate or Associates degree
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical assembly performance issues and failures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to ask questions
