What You'll Be Doing
Join the Wake County Register of Deeds Office in the fast paced Vital Records unit as a ROD Technician. Our team is known for providing excellent customer service in the largest county in North Carolina.
Essential Functions:
Assist eligible customers obtain certified birth, death and marriage licenses which are critical documentation necessary for many functions in our daily life
Guide applicants through the process to obtain a license to marry
Help new parents obtain a birth certificate for their bundle of joy
Administer the oath to Notary Public candidates
About Our Team
The Wake County Register of Deeds office provides various public services to our citizens including recording real property documents, issuing certified vital records, issuing marriage licenses, and we are a passport acceptance facility!
The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
High school diploma or GED
One year of job-related experience
Equivalent education and experience are accepted
How Will We Know You're 'The One'?
Fluency in Spanish
Ability to maintain security of personal information of our clients
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly

Location: Justice Center Raleigh, NC 27601
Employment Type: Regular
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5:15pm
Hiring Range: $18.20 - $23.17
