Our Direct Support Professionals are responsible for providing support, guidance and assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities served by Arc of Onondaga. This position is responsible for providing hands-on assistance, instruction and guidance, while implementing individuals' plans, goals and objectives to attain their fullest potential. Ideal candidates will:
- Have a strong desire to create a positive, long-term impact on the lives of the people they support
- Provide encouragement, mentoring and coaching to achieve their goals to attain independence and integration in our community
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS driver's license (not required) and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others
