The Hornet is looking to expand its wonderful team for our exceptionally busy spring season.

The Hornet is a locally owned (not corporate) neighborhood restaurant in the South Broadway/Baker District. We love our guests and treasure our employees. We have a fun company culture and exciting working environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsible for exceeding guests’ expectations by providing efficient, friendly guest service. Teamwork, enthusiasm, the ability to multitask and a high energy level are necessary for success at The Hornet.

Server

It is the responsibility of a server, to sell and effectively serve in a professional and hospitable manner. This requires thorough product knowledge (food, wine, and liquor), competence in service procedures and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Help customers select food/beverages
• Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Maintain a clean and organized dining experience at the table and clean and sanitize once the guests leave.

Pay: $17.29 - $45.00 per hour
