Quality Life Services is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) who is ready for a challenge and wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults. As an RN Supervisor you'll be part of a collaborative team whose energy, communication and dedication are valued and rewarded.

Essential Functions include but not limited to:

• Guide, teach and develop LPNs and Nurse Aides to ensure safe, quality resident care
• Make regular nursing unit rounds to evaluate resident care and handle routine nursing matters
• Assist in assessing physical, mental, psychosocial status of the residents
• Inform the physician of any resident changes and secure follow-up care as necessary
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and refer to other departments as appropriate
• Ensure that all admission, transfer and discharge of residents are completed timely, efficiently and accurately
• Ensure accurate documentation of all incidents / occurrences during the shift
• Report problems to the DON and assist in developing and implementing corrective actions
• Comply with all infection control policies
• Coordinate activities and assign personnel to appropriate areas during emergencies
• Ensure the availability of all medication, equipment, supplies and records
• Participate in admitting new residents, clarifying the initial or hospital discharge medication orders and contact the physician to review the residents status and medication plans
• Ensure the completed documentation of resident clinical information to facilitate the accurate completion of the MDS

Requirements:

• Active RN License in the state of Pennsylvania
• License in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Supervisory experience preferred

Valid Pennsylvania RN License in good standing
