Full-time Roadside Automotive Light Service Drivers (non-CDL) needed to provide roadside assistance to members. These services may include but are not limited to;

Receives emergency road service calls from call center. Drives to location of vehicle using Club van and provides assistance to member, such as, jump-starting vehicles; lock-out service; changing flat tires; changing batteries; other light mechanical services as necessary. Sell batteries and other services as appropriate. Uses various means of communication, including cell phones or tablets. Deals with emergency situations as they arise in a professional manner. Performs weekly inspection of vehicle(s) using established procedures and checklist. Coordinates with co-workers to ensure van is appropriately equipped for service. Communicates with call center staff professionally in performance of duties, providing and receiving information that will expedite and enhance service to members. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in light duty mechanical work and/or truck driving experience with a good safety record and good interpersonal skills.
• Education in mechanical services a plus and may be substituted for experience (such as BOCES or VoTech courses).
• High school diploma or GED required - must be at least age 18.
• Knowledge of Schenectady, Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties a plus.
• Must possess clean driver's license. Background check and drug testing will be completed.
• Must be available weekends and evenings and able to work 12 hour shifts.
