As a Safety Operations Supervisor at Traffic Management Inc., you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of ensuring the safety, operational excellence, and welfare of our employees, who are the cornerstone of our organization. You will be an integral member of the branch leadership team, possessing a comprehensive understanding of our company's overarching goals and objectives, and playing an active role in executing them in your day-to-day operations.

Essential Duties:

• Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to support corporate, regional, and branch initiatives, and serves as a visible driving force in the areas of responsibility and scope of control.
• Champions safety by implementing hazard prevention programs, fostering accountability for safe behaviors, leading safety meetings, conducting crew out safety toolboxes, and promoting a safety-focused culture.
• Supports engagement programs to attract new employees and enhance existing employee loyalty, satisfaction, and retention.
• Attracts, hires, leads, and develops a diverse team of Drivers, Helpers, and/or Dispatchers.
• Provides coaching, feedforward, and challenging assignments to team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Collaborates frequently with colleagues across departments, such as sales, fleet, and maintenance teams, to ensure that business and operational objectives are met.
• Assists in management and maintenance of local fleet as directed by Corporate, Regional, and Branch Manager.
• Ensures compliance with facility regulations and provides support as needed.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Previous knowledge or experience of leading in a safety-focused environment strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or other safety specific certifications preferred.
• Capacity to lead diverse teams of individuals to perform at their best.
• Ability to problem solve, use good judgment, and make sound decisions efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Have a high degree of ethics and integrity.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School or equivalent. 0-1 year of work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
