We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at a school located in Hobbs, NM. As the Physical Therapist, you will work with students of all ages to improve their physical abilities and help them achieve their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students with physical disabilities or injuries to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans that meet the needs of each student.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students as well as consult with teachers and other school staff to ensure that physical therapy goals are integrated into each students overall educational plan.
- Monitor and document progress of students and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to each students care.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and advances in the field of physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current New Mexico state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Prior experience working with children and adolescents with physical disabilities or injuries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
