Job Description:

Signal 88 is looking for a Patrol Security Officer within the Longmont/ Boulder area. The right person will be detailed oriented, comfortable with nighttime driving, and able to remain professional when interacting with the public. We are looking for candidates that have a sense of duty for our community, communication skills and a team player.

Title: Patrol Officer

Location: Longmont, CO

Schedule: Night shift Full time 30-40 hours a week. Other shifts may be available

Pay Rate: $16.50 to $21 Hourly

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Submit patrol reports to client/Supervisor

· Patrol the grounds and buildings as requested by clients

· Verify all doors, windows and gates are secured on the property

· Respond to any alerts of suspicious activity

· Report to local authorities when person is under suspicion of criminal activity

· Must be able to observe and dictate events seen and heard during patrol.

· Must be able to work overnight and weekends.

· Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.

· Background check is required.

· Must be willing to work in all weather conditions inside and outside the vehicle due to foot patrol may be required per clients request.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience:

• Security guard training certification or experience preferred but NOT REQUIRED
• Customer Service: 2 years
• Able to understand and execute written orders
• Security job experience: 1 year (Preferred, but not required)
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills written and verbal.

COVID-19 considerations:
We provide disinfecting wipes, masks and hand sanitizer in all patrol vehicles. All vehicles are cleaned and sanitized in-between changing of shift. One officer is assigned per patrol vehicle to ensure officers and staff are protected.
