About The Role

In FTI Consulting's Financial Services Business Transformation practice we focus on providing management consulting services around our clients' corporate and functional strategies, thus unlocking end to end transformation. We address the full spectrum of innovation, growth, performance improvement, financial and transactional challenges faced by local and global multi-sector clients including corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, fin-techs, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.

Clients seeking to: 1) drive innovation fueled growth and competitive differentiation 2) revitalize struggling business units; 3) explore new market opportunities; and 4) address challenges of activist investors call on our seasoned team of Performance Improvement professionals to develop and deploy sensible strategies that deliver sustainable results.

What You'll Do

• Lead client teams in developing end to end transformation opportunities across multiple value drivers, competencies and business functions.
• Design and execute strategies to drive organic and acquisitions-enabled growth, cost reduction and productivity enhancement, customer and employee experience improvement, risk assessment and optimization, liquidity management and strategic alternative evaluation.
• Drive excellence leveraging a suite of competencies including design thinking, customer journeys, operations excellence, digitization, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, operating model, managed services, strategic sourcing and change management
• Optimize business functions across customer lifecycle including strategy, origination, servicing, channel and product expansion, IT and corporate functions
• Work with clients to develop realistic hypotheses and translate these into an actionable implementation roadmap with defined timeline of benefits realization
• Lead engagements tasks throughout project delivery; undertake market, strategy and operational assessments; facilitate design workshops and synthesize analysis results and draw meaningful conclusions
• Develop trusted partner relationships with senior client executives, originate, solution and deliver engagements
• Research and develop thought leadership point of views and perspectives to be shared with clients and broader eco-system
• The Financial Service Business Transformation practice focuses not only on financial service companies but also and other industry vertical players looking to leverage financial service capabilities for growth (e.g., cryptocurrency, payments, point of sale lending).

The FTI Consulting Business Transformation-Performance Improvement practice helps clients rapidly unlock profitability by driving revenue, optimizing costs and improving operational effectiveness. We recognize that time is valuable and that our clients need immediate action. We work at an accelerated pace to facilitate change. Our teams are small, nimble and have the optimal mix of consulting tools and operating experience. Clients seeking to: 1) revitalize struggling business units; 2) explore new market opportunities; and 3) address challenges of activist investors call on our seasoned team of Performance Improvement professionals to develop and deploy sensible strategies that deliver sustainable results.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• 7 years of experience at a major consulting firm serving financial services client in consumer finance, retail banking, payments, retail brokerage, etc.
• Experience with any combination of the value drivers, competencies and business functions enumerated in the 'What you'll do' section above
• Strong consulting skillset: structural and pro-active design thinking, fact-based problem solving by gathering and analyzing data from primary and secondary sources, convincing communication
• Track record of delivering tangible improvements to financials and KPIs
• History of developing client relationships
• This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices
