The Position . . .

Currently, we are looking for one Senior Operations * Project Managers* with a keen focus on O* perations and Sales Projects for a manufacturing business. The PM selected will be hired by one of our manufacturing clients. The preference is for 90-day trial-to-hire terms but direct hire is available to strong-fit candidates. *

Your Background (Qualifications) . . . 

Required Qualifications:  

• 10+ years project management experience as an actual project manager using PMI tools and methodologies

• 8-10 years of enterprise-wide project plan development and execution experience with Operations and/or Sales for 500+ employees/end users

• 8-10 years of Operations Process Improvement Initiatives 

• 8-10 years Creating, tracking and linking project KPIs with business KPIs

• Emotional Intelligence and business acumen to recognize the difference and strike a balance between bringing PM structure where it's lacking without burdening and stifling teams with over-administration.

• Track record implementing waterfall methodologies. Experience with agile methodologies.

• Finance/Business Acumen:

• Creating and tracking project budgets $1M+

• Analyzing P&L statements to make recommendations to stakeholders

• Creating and tracking financial metrics

• General knowledge of account payable, billing, collections and payroll

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or applicable field. 

• Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills with all levels of an organization

• Strong Microsoft Suite with focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience with MS Project, Asana, Smartsheets, Clarity (or equivalent tool) 

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (Varies per client and COVID restrictions) 

Preferred Qualifications:   

• PMP Certified through PMI highly preferred

• 2 - 5 years implementing financial departments initiatives

• MBA or MS

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
