CompuCom is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a profound understanding of the ServiceNow platform and the ability to create and implement complex solutions that meet organizational requirements. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will closely collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to design, set up, maintain, and deploy business applications using the ServiceNow platform and integrate them with other systems that will be widely used by the company's workforce.

What We Need & What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Designing, configuring, maintaining, and deploying business applications using the ServiceNow platform and integrating them with other systems.
  • Creating technical designs for software applications based on your platform knowledge and judgment.
  • Writing test scripts, performing unit tests, and peer reviews.
  • Conducting advanced administration activities such as managing integrations and system-level configurations.
  • Collaborating with extended teams to manage systems and infrastructure required for ongoing development and releases.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing new features when necessary.
  • Documenting the technical aspects of the applications and configurations developed.
  • Providing assistance to end-users and resolving any issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Creating and executing test plans and scripts to ensure the quality of the applications developed.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the platform's health, including server availability, system performance, and data integrity.
  • Participating in the development of ServiceNow governance processes and policies, including change management, access control, and security.
  • Staying current with the latest ServiceNow releases and updates and proactively identifying opportunities to implement new features and functionalities.
  • Identifying and resolving platform issues and collaborating with ServiceNow technical support when necessary.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related experience.
  • At least five years of experience in developing, integrating, and maintaining applications using ServiceNow Platform technology and tools.
  • Advanced experience configuring and scripting business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, notification events, ACLs, workflow activities, etc.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and integration of disparate systems using SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow platform components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Reporting, Service Portal, etc.
  • Ability to effectively manage time across multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience in Reporting and Performance Analytics.
  • Experience with release/version upgrades, including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with ServiceNow, Scripted Webservices, Client-Side and Server-Side Scripting, Service Portal configuration.
  • Experience working with IT Service Management processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, SLM, Service Catalog), PPM/ITBM.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT architecture.
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • High coding standards and ability to maintain them even under pressure.
  • Ability to mentor and lead other developers.
  • ServiceNow Developer or Administrator certification preferred.
