Position Summary: Provides guest service, maintains wait station and side work duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.

2. Responsible for creating and fostering an environment of support and motivation for Team Members.

3. Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.

4. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.

5. Assures assigned section is ready for service prior to opening shift.

6. Maintains knowledge of food and drink menus. Learns and can describe daily specials to guests.

7. Greets each guest and makes him or her feel welcome.

8. Serves food and beverage items per request according to established service standards.

9. Assures all tables are pre-bussed and removes all dishes not being used by customer.

10. Ensures quality service standards are followed and uses cost control measures (i.e. napkins, silverware, condiments, etc.)

11. Enforces and follows all liquor laws and regulations when applicable.

12. Sets serving stations.

13. Observes diners and responds to any additional requests (i.e. condiments, drink refills, and extra napkins.)

14. Completes all assigned side work prior to leaving shift.

15. Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.

16. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
