Sakura Japanese Steakhouse seeking for nice friendly reliable and responsible servers/hostess/bussers.

Servers' duty and responsibility:

• Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
• Taking customers’ food and drink orders
• Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
• Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant wine stock
• Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
• Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
• Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
• Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations.

Bartender duties and responsibility:

Previous bartender service experience required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.

• Provide great customer service to our guests!
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons.
• Keep bar stocked of all bottled products, mixers, and glassware.
• Work as a team with waitress/servers to fill drink orders. Clean bar, glassware and service areas.
• Rings up all drinks and food orders in the POS system, collects payment for drinks and/or food served, balances all receipts and follows proper cash handling procedures.
• Must check on customer's ID, must be 21 years old to have drink.

Hostess duties and responsibility:

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant.
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table.
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area.
• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have.
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff.
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties.

Pay: $200.00 - $350.00 per day
