This job will be based in our Mobile, Alabama office.

Job Description

As a Social Media and Marketing Specialist you will be directly involved in maintaining and enhancing our image on social media, involved in our marketing efforts within the industries we serve, and supporting our outreach and service efforts in our local communities. This position reports to the VP of Operations.

Social Media

• Manage our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram pages across our family of companies. Determine our messaging, format, and frequency.
• Manage and develop social media strategy and content. Analyze current platforms and status, identify weaknesses, and make recommendations on improvements. Work with project teams and company management to capture content and drive company strategy.
• Respond to inbound social media traffic.
• Increase overall social media following numbers and engagement. Research social media trends and inform management of needed relevant changes.
• Generate periodic reports/analytics to measure growth & impact. Set KPI's for overall strategy as well as focused campaigns.

Website

• Work with third-party company to upgrade and maintain company websites.
• Coordinate with internal needs for website updates, communications, and applications

Marketing

• Create and maintain company marketing collateral to educate customers and community of our services and capabilities.
• Participate and assist in coordination of company/community events.
• Attend and coordinate periodic conferences and industry events.

Job Requirements

Must-Haves

• High School Degree
• Self-starter mentality
• Ability to multitask and organize several concurrent needs
• 2-years of proven social media experience
• Proven track record of successfully maintaining and growing Social Media sites
• Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google analytics
• Ability to travel to project sites and events

Nice-to-Haves

• Photography knowledge and experience with photo editing software
• Cursory knowledge of the construction industry
• Familiarity with web design

Pay: $37000 - $46000 / year
