*This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
**Full-time position; 40 hours/wk. (Monday-Friday) Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable. After hours on-call availability.
*** Salary Range: $27.59/hr. - $35.38/hr. - based on licensure status (limited vs. full licensure)
****$10,000.00 sign-on bonus available (Master's Level).
(If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)

Requirements:
- Full or limited Michigan licensure as a Master’s social worker required.
- Familiarity with substance use disorders and CAADC credential desirable.
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in providing services to adults with severe and persistent mental health challenges required.
- Mental health treatment court experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities:
- Provides case management services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, which includes assessment, person-centered planning, care coordination, discharge and after care planning, and a variety of other psychosocial services.
- Advocates and serves as a liaison with community supports and agencies.
- Provides jail diversion services, which includes eligibility screening for identified persons involved with the criminal justice system, coordination with local law enforcement agencies, and ongoing communication with involved entities concerning progress of identified jail diversion cases.
- Position requires travel (agency vehicle available) and minimal after hours on-call availability.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery based practices.
