Morrow County School District has an opening for a
Special Education Teacher at Sam Boardman Elementary School in Boardman, Oregon
beginning with the 2023-24 school year. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain full Oregon licensure with endorsement in Special Education, and must be Highly Qualified. This position has 10 extended days in the contract and an additional stipend.
Morrow County is located in rural north central Oregon, bordered on the north by the Columbia River and timbered by the Umatilla National Forest on the southern border. There are 9 campuses, approximately 2265 students and 320 staff.

RULE SUMMARY: The intention of OAR 333-019-1030 is to help prevent and slow the spread of COVID-19 by requiring teachers, school staff, volunteers, and school-based program staff and volunteers who work in schools to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or request a medical or religious exception.
