Teacher Assistant and Substitute Teacher Job at Gretchen's House Child Care Centers
Part-time opportunities available at Little Huskies Child Development Center, located on the campus of Michigan Tech University. Work schedule options are 1:15-5:15, Monday through Friday (20 hours/week) or full day, flex scheduling as needed.
$16.00-$19.23/hour

Requirements
- Completed degree not required. Training and scholarship opportunities provided.
- Experience working in a group care setting
- Immunization requirements: MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Annual influenza and Covid-19 plus booster
Responsibilities
Teachers work on a team to support children and families through:
- Learning Environment
- Daily routine, small group, large group, transitions, clean up, snacks and meals, and outside time
- Curriculum Planning and Assessment
- Family Partnerships and Community Relationships
Please note: Gretchen's House @ Little Huskies will be closed Dec. 23rd - Jan. 2nd for the holiday break. Job applications can expect to receive a response no later than Jan. 6th.
