• $20 to $25 per hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role

Sunday - Friday 5a - 130p (Saturday off and a revolving weekday off)

The Role

Working Lead Postion that is responsible in assisting Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing warehouse personel for case packing produce, salads, and sandwiches in appropriate sized boxes. Must be able to correctly label the case and accurately palletize product to correct division using daily pick report. Correctly label incoming raw materials and rotate into stock. Decant produce out of cardboard into clean production containers while documenting lot codes. Clean warehouse floors, dump compost/garbage, and load and unload trailers.

• Working lead role, must be able to work in all departments and work where is needed for the business.
• Assists with directing theactivities of the warehouse. Such activities include shipping, receiving, order selecting, and maintaining a high standard for our Good Manufacturing Practices and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate receiving errors and picking errors. Ensure that the errors have been fixed and inventory is correct.
• Assist in researching picking concerns and respond to person that made the request with follow up and document the conversation.
• Responsible for ensuring equipment paperwork is completed by all staff, equipment issues are communicated to appropriate staff and equipment is being maintained safely.
• Responsible for assisting in warehouse safety programs by providing a safe and clean workplace for employees within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.
• Suggest equipment requirements and replacement to the Warehouse Manager in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
• Responsible for aiding and supporting a productive labor climate in the warehouse operation.
• Assist Warehouse Manager in the ASAP program and ensuring that Safety is a Top Priority in daily operations.

• Must have produce knowledge and knowledge of warehouse procedures; at least one year produce picking and/or receiving experience.
• Have effective communication skills and follow up skills.
• Basic computer experience with word, excel and warehouse specific computer programs.
