ELM FieldSight provides unique solutions in Asset Monitoring and Control to their customers. Their suite of products includes:
· Microgrid Site Controllers for energy systems that include generators, inverters, solar arrays, and batteries
· Battery Energy Storage Systems
ELM FieldSight is looking to hire an experienced web designer that designs, develops, and implements an updated customer facing data analysis web portal. This applicant will focus on customized design and layout of an updated web portal as well as upkeep and implementing new features. Secondary duties will include supporting backend web app and database upkeep under the web team lead. They should have knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CGI, Illustrator, XD, Figma, and JavaScript). Experience with mobile app development is a plus. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to work in a team of developers, manage timelines, and work to deadlines. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
First Tier Experience Considerations:
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Design, Graphic Design, or related. Code school program completion also accepted.
· 3+ years of relevant experience is a plus
· JavaScript/HTML/CSS
· ReactJS (or similar enterprise-level JS framework)
· IDE (VS Code, Visual Studio, or similar)
· Modular design, reusable components
· Git (or similar version control system)
· Typography, Color Theory, Responsive Design, UX and UI Skills are a must
Second Tier Experience Considerations:
· Typescript
· C#
· ASP.Net WebAPI
· OAuth2
· Azure Cloud
· SQL Server
