The Role

Veteran sales leader who will lead a growing team of sellers focused on identifying, developing, and nurturing customer relationships to drive consistent revenue within our Global Sales Organization (GSO). The ideal candidate will play a hands-on role by providing strategic sales direction, coaching a team of sales directors and individual contributors, directly participate as needed on closing deals in key accounts, to drive a consistent and repeatable ”sales machine”. This individual will be responsible for sales planning, execution of sales strategies, and sales forecasting resulting in improved pipeline generation, deal sizes and win rates.


What you'll do

Management & People Development:

  • Recruit, hire and retain a high performing sales team (sales directors, individual contributors and other key sales support team members).
  • Coach and develop team; provide input into account planning, territory design, and incentive plan design.
  • High level of focus on building a positive sales culture and team.
  • Proactively resolve conflicts and roadblocks to enable successful execution.
  • High availability to team members and peers.


Market & Sales Planning:

  • Work with sales and marketing stakeholders to understand and address vertically-specific market opportunities.
  • Development and execute the Infrastructure sales plan, as well as the underlying sub-vertical planning processes.


Sales Execution:

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop account plans for strategic accounts.
  • Ability to work with customer leadership and influence communities to drive growth.
  • Work with direct reports to coach and support on key opportunities.
  • Leverage deal reviews and forecasting sessions to reinforce a consistent selling approach.
  • Ensure team and individual performance is actively measured against stated goals and objectives.
  • Understands the Infrastructure sales model in addition to Wyndham's chain scales, properties and quality levels to ensure end customer / property fit.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Experience managing a team of 10+ experienced sales directors and individual contributors.
  • Deep sales experience in one or more of the following industries: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Government & Unions.
  • Experience installing a solution selling approach.
  • Experience managing annual quotas in excess of $200M.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Minimum 15-20 years previous working experience, including at least 6 10+ years of sales leadership experience.
