Landscape Foreman (Senior)

Timberland Outdoor Services is a full service landscape design-build and commercial landscape management contractor servicing the Twin Cities metro area. Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and train crew members
• Oversee and coordinate landscape jobs
• Operate landscape equipment needed for installations; skid steer, dingo, excavator, power equipment, and commercial vehicles
• Organize equipment, personnel, materials, and information
• Ensure daily responsibilities are completed before dismissing crews
• Maintain and report accurate time, materials, equipment measurements and internal documentation
• Represent the company to current and potential clients
• Winter snow plowing
• Scheduled maintenance of equipment

Minimum Requirements:

• MN drivers license and able to pass a DOT Physical and drug screen
• Self motivated, positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Demonstrated ability to think ahead, plan, troubleshoot, and problem solve
• Ability to lead, cooperate with and direct a landscape crew
• Must be able to read and follow construction plans and estimate materials needed
• Good communication skills
• Maintain professional appearance and interact professionally with clients and crew
• Knowledge of basic power equipment and tools
• Must be able to keep accurate records
• Ability to regularly lift 100 lbs regularly
• Must be able to keep a clean work environment and maintain safety and cleanliness standards

Preferred Requirements:

• CDL Class A License
• 5 years experience in landscape industry
• Experience as a foreman, managing crews
• Knowledge of plant material
• Knowledge of patio and retaining wall construction
• Basic knowledge of Spanish

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
