Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing, behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. The Company serves patients with commercial health insurance and is an in-network model. Northpoint has grown from two facilities to 14 today entirely on a de novo basis with plans to expand rapidly in both existing and new markets. Northpoint has an opening for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in our Seattle, WA outpatient facility.
POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the LMHC will oversee the therapeutic services provided to a caseload of clients. This individual will act as the treatment plan coordinator for the multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of the master treatment plan and the discharge plan for each client. The LMHC will provide individual, group and family therapy for assigned patients, as required by contractual and licensure obligations. This person will actively communicate with staff, treatment teams, and outside agencies on treatment and safety issues pertaining to patients and their family members. The LMHC will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner. The facilitation and fostering of positive relationships with referral sources and other outside agencies is vitally important.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Provide counseling, assessments and group facilitation to individuals and families
- Coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission to discharge
- Consult with the multidisciplinary treatment team to provide quality patient care
- Provide orientation and education to patients, families and others to aid in the therapeutic process
- Collaborate with assigned patients in the development of written treatment plans; include patient and family involvement in assessment, treatment, education and discharge planning
- Monitor patients on an ongoing basis to continually assess needs and facilitate treatment and interventions
- Document clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, diagnostic summaries, and progress charting in a timely manner to assure comprehensive and quality patient care
- Actively participate as member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and maintain effective working relationships with employees and peers
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients at all times
- Oversee and participate in the quality assurance and utilization review activities of the facility
- Provide clinical updates to representatives of managed care to assure coordination and reimbursement of treatments services
- Coordinate with community based providers and referral sources to ensure optimal levels of care and treatment outcomes, post discharge
- Case staffing and individual case supervision
- Facilitate individual and group therapy

- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care
- Other clinically appropriate services as determined by the facility
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Recognized Mental Health Professional possessing Master Level LMHC, LMFT or LICSW
- Must possess SUDP licensure or willingness to register as a SUDP-T within 30 days of employment. Those working as a SUDP-T will work under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor
- Must have a license that is in good standing with the State of Washington, in accordance with WAC 246-811
- Must hold a license as defined in WAC 246-809-210
- Be licensed without restrictions and have been in good standing for the previous two years
- Engage in monthly clinical supervision as required by WAC 246-811
- Counselor with proven experience in the mental health and substance use disorder field preferred
- Strong understanding of mandatory reporting responsibilities, per state guidelines
- Strong understanding of, and adherence to, the ethical standards of the respective license adopted by the governing board for licensure
- Knowledge and skills in English usage, interpersonal relationships and excellent communication skills

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
- Must hold an active LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW
- Must maintain current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification

- Outpatient treatment setting. Exposure to disturbed and potentially aggressive patients will be frequent. Stress ranges from low to intense depending on the situation
- Must have the reasonable ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk, hear, taste and smell. Must be reasonably capable of lifting twenty pounds
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Completion of a tuberculin screening during first week of employment
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screening, post-accident and random for upon reasonable suspicion of use
- Completion of orientation and required paperwork prior to reporting to work
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Completion of CPR/First Aid Training within first 90 days of employment
- Attendance at all mandatory staff development and training
- Completion of background and professional reference checks
- Completion of Motor Vehicle Record check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 an hour DOE
