Outreach Worker Job at Tri-Area Community Health
Tri-Area Community Health, a federally qualified health center in Southwest Virginia, with locations in Laurel Fork, Ferrum, Floyd, Stuart, Troutdale and coming soon to Fries, has an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced outreach associate to cover the Tri-Area service area, with a focus on Carroll and Grayson Counties and the City of Galax.
Duties include (a) attending events in the various communities that we serve as well as reaching out and developing relationships with individuals and organizations in our service area; (b) attending local, regional, and statewide meetings as needed for education and promotion of Tri-Area; (c) leading organizational marketing efforts through traditional media, social media, and using the internet and our website. A strong knowledge of Tri-Area clinics and pharmacies is required because this person will be sharing that knowledge with people who may not be aware of Tri-Area or the services we provide.
Hours may vary and include some night and weekend work. A work week will typically consist of 40 hours.
Pay is based on education and experience.
As a healthcare facility, we fall under the COVID-19 vaccination mandate from CMS.
