Pre-K Music Teacher (Guitarist/Singer) - Plymouth Meeting, PA Job at Plymouth Performing Arts Center
Plymouth Performing Arts Center, located at the Plymouth Meeting Mall in Plymouth Meeting PA, has an opening for a pre-K music class teacher for our First Notes music program (learn more about our program at www.firstnotes.com)
This position requires skill in singing and playing acoustic guitar, and an engaging and interactive personality for teaching music to young children and their caregivers.
You will be teaching two to three classes on one or more weekday mornings, 43 weeks out of each year. Classes are held at our modern, spacious facility in the Plymouth Meeting Mall.
Schedule
- Classes are held between 9:30 and 11:30 AM one or more days per week
Responsibilities
- Perform a combination of traditional, original, and cover songs as part of a music curriculum for young children.

- Live within a reasonable commute of Plymouth Meeting, PA.
Compensation
- This is a W2 employment position
- Base compensation $30 to $35/hour depending on skills and experience
- You are guaranteed a minimum of 2 hours/pay per visit, even if there is only one class that morning.
