Provide security screening to prevent the introduction of weapons, explosives and other deadly or dangerous items into the air transportation system by means of available screening equipment such as hand-held metal detectors and physical inspections. The screening provides security for the aircraft, airports, air carriers and staff. $20.65

Job Summary

SFO Aircraft Security Screener is responsible for conducting screenings at the airport. You will check luggage and cargo for illicit items using an x-ray machine. You also check passengers for illicit items by using scanner machines and hand wands. Your duties will include reporting anything suspicious to the airport police officer on duty.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous airport and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be US Citizen
• Capable of lifting, holding or carrying up to 75 pounds repetitively
