The Senior Specialist of Brand Strategy & Activation is responsible for executing United's brand strategy and for having a thorough understanding of United's visual identity and design to maintain brand standards and attributes across multiple channels. This position ensures that the United brand is consistently represented while safeguarding all branded materials express the most effective and recognizable brand position. This role will provide guidance to internal and external partners to enable a consistent Brand experience across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides guidance, maintains, and protects the airline's visual identity, design, and branded experience in all channels
  • Supplies Brand Identity inputs to agency partners and internal groups throughout the project lifecycle and then follows through to ensure the delivery of a consistent brand standard
  • Maintain and optimize the brand approval process for internal and external partners
  • Responsible for maintaining, communicating, and publishing updates to United visual identity and design

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years marketing, design, or branding experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design thinking and global branding principles
  • Proven project management skills and cross-functional collaboration including the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in or knowledge of the airline/travel industry
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
