Torsion Group is looking for a new Social Media Specialist to join our digital marketing team! We are looking for a social media savvy, outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, goal-driven, detail-oriented, creative team member. The Social Media Specialist will work directly with the creative director to develop and implement marketing plans. Torsion Group offers a creative, fun and fast-paced work environment, no two days will be the same!

Torsion Group is a manufacturer of garage door weather seals and distributor of garage door parts. We provide garage door and access point solutions for home and business owners alike. We bring two brands to market, a B2B channel and a direct to consumer channel. One of our brands is a part time sponsor of a NASCAR driver!

Responsibilities:

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, analytics, benchmarking and audience identification
• Define most important social media KPIs for each channel
• Identify, track and regularly report on impact metrics
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, practices and technologies. Make recommendations for adjustments to communication strategies
• Maintain the company's online presence and respond to reviews and questions; including YouTube, Reseller Ratings, and other platforms
• Interact with users on social platforms, liking, commenting to foster an online community
• Schedule weekly email & social campaigns, maintain contacts list and monitor performance
• Maintain social media channels
• Data analysis of email and social campaigns
• Assist the marketing department with maintaining and updating the e-commerce platforms
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Analytics driven decision making

Skills, Education & Interests:

• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Experience with managing social media content and email campaigns
• Interest in graphic design, photography and video editing a plus
• Internship or other relevant experience in marketing, sales, hospitality or related fields
• BA in marketing, communication, English or related major preferred.

Software:

• Hoot Suite, Constant Contact or other content management software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiar with web design and web publishing like WordPress
• Familiar with Adobe products, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign a plus
• Experience with BigCommerce or another eCommerce platform is a plus
