Salary Range: $16.37 - $16.98 (Training Plan) // DOE; Starting at $17.63 (Fully Qualified)
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Non-exempt. Responsible for reporting on the compliance of employees, managers, and supervisors of the Colville Tribal Gaming Operation with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and professional standards of conduct. Tribal Gaming Agents (TGA) assure that gaming tables, machines, equipment, and dealers meet the highest standard of fairness and honesty. TGAs conduct compliance audits including, but not limited to, investigation of known or alleged code violations, and unethical or illegal acts of employees, managers, patrons, and others, as required by applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies affecting gaming, thus maintaining the honesty, fairness, integrity, and security of the gaming operation. TGAs may be required to give public presentations on gaming programs as assigned by the Director of Gaming.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED; AND
Must have an associate degree in accounting or a closely related field; OR
24 months of combined training/education within the gaming industry, law enforcement, or accounting field; OR
36 months of progressively responsible clerical accounting, bookkeeping, or closely related experience demonstrating the ability to perform the functions of this position.
Applicants must be qualified and suitable for a Tribal gaming license under Tribal, State, and Federal requirements. A tribal gaming license application must be completed and submitted with the CCT job application to be considered. - Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance.
Working Knowledge:
Computers and skills using certain Microsoft Office software applications.
Possible Trainee Position:
Employee Training Plan would need to be completed (CCT Salary Policy and Salary Appendix A, Resolution 2015-153)
