WEDDING SALES & EVENTS DIRECTOR FOR CLOVERLEAF FARM

Primary Functions of the Position:
Under the General Guidance of the General Manager, and within limits of established policies, procedures, and company manuals, is responsible for selling and producing all events at Cloverleaf Farm. Pursue sales opportunities and leads as you generate as well as are distributed to you.

Secondary Functions of the Position:
Plan, detail and execute all events at Cloverleaf Farm. Any events not directly executed by you will still fall on your responsibility to ensure event success by communicating planning details, making introductions, etc. Uphold and enforce all policies and procedures implemented by management at ADE.

Job Responsibilities:
Financial

  • Follow accounting process guidelines regarding expenses
  • Manage expenses to budget

Events

  • Execute the events you have sold and develop client relationship and sign-off on event execution.
  • Ensure the success of your events by working with the Event Operations Manager in managing, directing and coordinating with Client, Chefs, Operations, Supervisor and other ADE Staff Members
  • In conjunction with the General Manager, plan and participate in Promotional Marketing & Industry Events

Sales

  • Expected to meet Cloverleaf Farm annual predetermined sales goals
  • With leadership from the Management Team, participate in the development and maintenance of the company’s Sustainable Competitive Advantage and brand in the marketplace
  • Plan and oversee assigned Promotional Marketing Events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and maximize revenue potential
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the community and competition
  • Booking through various efforts (sales calls, tours, networking, etc).
  • Maintain accurate client, event, and proposal information in Caterease
  • Responsible for creating proposals, contracts and BEO’s, as well as all other arrangements as they relate to corporate event planning
  • Responsible for creatively up-selling menu items for events and conducting site tours
  • Answer phones and return messages promptly
  • Maintain healthy communication between yourself and sales, kitchen, operations and management
  • Ensure accuracy of your sales proposals
  • Organize and maintain the Sales Office, including supplies, machine operations, and communicate any needs to GM
  • Attend all Tastings for booked clients at Cloverleaf Farm
  • Attend BEO meetings in Norcross as needed to discuss events
  • Arrive 1 hour prior to the tour(s) and appointments to get facility “show ready”

Operations

  • Turn all invoices and payments into accounting following the written accounting process guidelines
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
  • Oversee your event logistics including paperwork flow, proposal accuracy and timeliness, and communication with operations and culinary team
  • Ensure accuracy of all rental requests for your events
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external catering events
  • Demonstrate creativity in planning and executing events
  • Work with ADE Planner to Create pull sheets and event books to be used by Operations and Event Staff to execute events
  • Schedule drop off appointments for personal items the week of the event
  • Communicate with WD and EM event dynamics two weeks before the event date
  • Draw diagrams for buffets
  • Communicate venue needs and areas of concern to GM
  • Use the text chain to alert necessary individuals of scheduled tours and appointments on a weekly basis

Miscellaneous

  • Maintain positive attitude as well as reflecting a “team” mentality with fellow co-workers and management
  • Be flexible and receptive to change

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
