Ford Warranty Administrator

Description:

As a Warranty Administrator you play a vital role in the service department and contribute to the success of the dealership by being responsible for all processes involving warranty claims.

Requirements:

What We Expect:

Must have a minimum one-year experience processing Ford warranty claims

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with guests and team members and to exceed their expectations.

Ability to reason, formulate, and implement action plans that will benefit the corporation effectively.

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

What You'll Do:

Process warranty claims on a timely basis for franchise or distributor

Close and process repair orders for warranty and extended warranty services

Input all warranty claims, warranty credit memos, warranty journal entries and payroll summaries into the computer

Accurately create and send reports on a weekly basis

Transmit franchise credit memo statements

Verify criteria required by factory or distributor

Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule

Follow up on payment of outstanding claims, keeping schedules current and under 30 days and less

Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins
