We are currently searching for a Landscape Designer/Architect to add to our award winning design team!

Primary requirements & responsibilities:

• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Landscape Architecture/Design and Horticulture is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to creatively troubleshoot and problem solve both individually and with the team.
• Prepare conceptual, preliminary, master plan and 3D designs using Computer software.
• Participate in daily/weekly sales and production and planning meetings.
• Job site visits and measurements as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Job Skills:

• Experience with CAD software required
• 3-5 years’ experience in landscape design preferred
• Degree in horticulture or landscape architecture preferred
• Creative, innovative, and highly motivated
• Knowledge of landscape terminology and applicable construction materials
• Knowledge of plant material and other landscape materials.
• Knowledge of proper landscape construction (i.e. installation of retaining walls & patios)
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Exceptional time management skills
• Consistency and completeness in the preparation of technical documents
• A high level of organizational skills
• Must be proficient in oral and written communication

Experience:

• Landscape Architecture/Design: 2-4 years experience (Preferred)
• Candidate must have experience designing landscapes utilizing Dynascape or similar software.
• Candidates of all experience levels are welcome.
• Very experienced candidates would have the opportunity to work independently and showcase their skills. Strong computer skills are a must.
• Candidates that have experience with 3-D software, sketch up, and photo imaging will be given stronger consideration.
• Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, consistently meet deadlines, and represent company in a professional manner. Training is available for less experienced candidates.
