The goals of this position are to promote and maintain a high level of quality and customer service in the provision of the Imaging Center. Ensure that a high level of communication and coordination is maintained between the Imaging Center physician's, technologists and front office.

Position Scope - Limited Xray Tech:

• Providing quality x-ray services to all patients
• Import patient information (images) into PACS system
• Store imaging information in form of disks
• Assist in image retrieval – printing and other PAC – related needs
• Establish communications and customer relations with staff and public
• Documents patients’ charts; i.e., per policies and procedures of the clinic
• Assists physicians and providers with patient care during appointments
• Assists with needs of the office when time permits
• Assisting tech with getting patient changed and ready for exams
• Changing coils and prepping MRI/CT room for next exam
• Cleaning rooms as needed
• Cleaning dressing rooms
• Other duties as assigned

Position Scope - Tech Aide:

* Maintains a high level of customer service, Maintains patient areas, keeping the areas clean and well stocked with linens and ensures all required supplies are on hand to guarantee no disruption of service

* Escorts the patient to the dressing room and ensures the patient screening information is accurate and checks for any potential contraindications for the scheduled exam, prior to the exam being performed (ask technologist for assistance as needed)

* Assists the patient onto the MRI/CT table * ; Assembles and labels films/cd's in their proper order for delivery

* Maintains good customer relations with Imaging Center physicians, Imaging Center personnel, referring physicians and their staff

* Tech Aide takes instruction willingly and performs his/her duties in a timely manner

* Front Desk Receptionist responsibilities.

* Performs other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must have limited x-ray license
• Knowledge of Microsoft office, excel and basic computer skills
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple issues at once
• High level of customer service skills

Hours:
Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
